Hi SaugaTech community,
Most of what we’ve covered at SaugaTech so far has been about building: the models, the tools, the products, the careers around them.
For our next in-person meetup on November 14, we’re stepping into a different part of the tech world, where the platform already exists, the stakes are bigger, and the hardest question is what to build for whom.
The Art of Scoping in Enterprise Tech is about how large technology rollouts actually begin. Before any code gets written, someone has to sit across from an organization, work out what’s really broken, figure out who needs to say yes, and turn all of it into a scope, timeline and cost that people can stand behind.

This one is also about the room. West GTA has plenty of senior folks who have spent years doing enterprise tech work, rolling out platforms, scoping engagements, and getting through the messy middle of implementations. They rarely get a space to compare notes with each other, or with the people coming up behind them. This session is meant to be that space.
Come to learn from practitioners who’ve been there and done it, bring the questions you can’t ask in a project meeting, and spend time afterwards getting to know the people around you. Every conversation that starts in that room helps us build an enterprise tech ecosystem in West GTA, and we’d like to build it together.
